Kristy J. Sinkfield, MEd

Kristy serves as the Associate Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion where she is leading the organization in advancing efforts to increase diversity in staff and promote a climate of inclusivity and belonging. Kristy holds a BS in Public Administration from Lipscomb University and MEd from Cambridge College. Some of her past professional work experiences include Vice President of Enrollment Management for Allen University an HBCU, Team Leader for Behavioral Science for the VUMC Institutional Review Board, and Director for Strategy Development for the Office of Strategy and Innovation. In 2020, Kristy was awarded VUMC’s Five Pillar Leader Award. As a native of Nashville, in addition to her career, Kristy maintains strong ties to the community in her roles as a board member, leader of social action and civic organizations and as a faith community leader and teacher. Kristy enjoys traveling and making memories with her husband, 3 adult children and her greatest joys--her 3 grandchildren.
