Welcome to the VUMC Office of Diversity and Inclusion!

Black History Month - Black Resistance

Black Resistance is the theme Black History Month 2023. This theme explores how “African Americans have resisted historic and ongoing oppression, in all forms, especially the racial terrorism of lynching, racial pogroms, and police killings.”

Black History Month events hosted by the VUMC AAERG

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion serves to cultivate a workforce that is diverse and inclusive, that reflects the populations we serve. Our goal is to train, educate, advocate, and consult on DEI related issues for staff members of Vanderbilt Health.
