Alex Lopez

Alex Lopez is a medical student at Meharry Medical College who was accepted into Vanderbilt’s Medical Scholars program to perform a year of research in Neuroscience. He graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a double major in Biological science and Neuroscience, with honors. While an undergraduate student at USC, he earned a Master of Science in Marine and Environmental Biology. He is interested in studying disease pathology of Parkinson’s Disease as it relates to its clinical presentation. In his spare time, he enjoys yoga, cooking, programming, watching USC football, scuba diving, sailing, and playing soccer.
