As Director of Operations for Firefly, Kim leads VUMC in partnering with TennCare and the state's three managed care organizations to leverage innovative approaches to improve care coordination, payment modeling, and service integration for women with opioid use disorder and their infants at Vanderbilt. 

In her role as Administrative & Creative Director for the Center for Child Health Policy and Senior Program Manager in the Department of Pediatrics, Kim works on a range of projects and initiatives that seek to translate, interpret and disseminate health policy research through design, data visualization, digital, print and other mediums. She spearheads the Center for Child Health Policy's internal and external marketing and communications initiatives and oversees activities, events, staff, and member engagement. 

Kim holds a Master of Public Health and a Master of Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Gender, and Health from the University of Michigan. She serves on the Board of Directors for Renewal House, a Nashville-based addiction treatment facility for women and their children. Kim has served as the Program Director for the Gender, Equity, & Environment Program at the Sierra Club in Washington, DC, designed health campaigns to help low-income families manage childhood asthma and access healthy food at the Baltimore City Health Department, and worked with non-profits and hospitals in health advocacy, organizing, communications and marketing capacities.
