Anna Morad, MD, FAAP
Dr. Morad is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in the Division of Academic General Pediatrics, and is the Medical Director of the Newborn Nursery. She completed medical school at the University of Alabama, Birmingham and her pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Alabama. Her research interests are perinatal care and breastfeeding medicine.
Dr. Morad is the Infant Medical Director for the Tennessee Initiative for Perinatal Quality Care (TIPQC). She has led statewide quality improvement projects around breastfeeding promotion, care of late preterm infants, and care for opioid exposed newborns. She is President of the Tennessee Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is active on the legislative committee.
