Luke A. Gatta, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Vanderbilt. 

A “maternalist” at heart, his clinical practice includes a focus on surgical obstetrics and works with a Cardiac-Obstetrics clinic, in addition to general Maternal-Fetal Medicine care.

He completed both his Obstetrics & Gynecology residency and Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at Duke University, and an American College of Surgeons-Maclean Center Surgical Ethics fellowship at the University of Chicago.

He is generally at the Center for Biomedical Ethics & Society on Mondays and Thursdays.  An updated list of his peer-reviewed publications may be found here.
