Ethics consults in pediatric intensive care units: Who, what, where, when and why?

Little is known about the ethical dilemmas faced by providers caring for critically ill children. This retrospective study aims to describe the ethical dilemmas encountered in the pediatric intensive care unit by analyzing data collected by one institution’s clinical ethics consult service.
