I am delighted to welcome you to the Center for Programs in Allied Health (CPiAH) at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC).  Our mission is to offer cutting edge, innovative, and collaborative programs for diverse students who will provide compassionate and personalized care that supports VUMC and the broader community.

Allied health has a long and distinguished history for more than 100 years at VUMC. The Dietetic Internship was established in 1929 and more programs were added in subsequent years.  Our fully accredited programs provide students the unique opportunity to receive a world-class education from renown healthcare experts.   Student outcomes on licensure examinations are top-notch and graduates enjoy high job placements, often before graduation.  Many graduates are gainfully employed, right here at VUMC, one of the nation’s largest and most comprehensive academic medical centers in the Southeast region.

If you are a prospective student or one who seeks to become a visiting student for a clinical experience, we welcome you to learn more about CPiAH.  For our educational and healthcare partners, we seek to expand our program offerings and advance a network of collaborative opportunities for allied health education.
