Urologic Oncology Fellowship

The Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Vanderbilt prepares and trains academic leaders in the field at a high-volume regional and national referral center for comprehensive genitourinary cancer care.

Fellows work with our nationally and internationally recognized faculty, which includes nine fellowship-trained urologic oncologists.  The program emphasizes multidisciplinary oncologic diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, and surveillance for all urologic cancer types.

The Vanderbilt Urologic Oncology Fellowship is accredited by the Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO).  Fellows who complete our two-year Urologic Oncology Fellowship, can demonstrate:

  • Advanced expertise in multidisciplinary management of patients with urologic cancer 
  • Knowledge and ability in applying critical principles of medical oncology, radiation oncology, uropathology and imaging techniques
