Haley Vance, NP

Haley Vance is an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with Pediatric Neurosurgery. She graduated from Auburn University in 2005 with a B.S. in Human Development Family Studies, minor in Spanish. After living in San Pedro Sula, Honduras for a short time, Haley returned to the states and began her nursing career. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2007 with her B.S. in Nursing and 2009 with her M.S. in Nursing. Haley was awarded the Outstanding Masters Student Award- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program for the UAB School of Nursing in 2009. She completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from UAB in 2013, with a research focus on concussions in pediatric patients. Prior to joining Vanderbilt in June 2012 - Haley worked at Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham for 6 1/2 years, serving in a variety of roles caring for pediatric neurosurgery patients.
