Aaron C. Jessop, MD, MBA, graduated with honors from Utah State University and earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Jessop completed a residency in Nuclear Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he served as chief resident and he was named Fellow Teacher of the Year (2009) and Teacher of the Year in the Nuclear Medicine Technology Program (2008 and 2009). He earned his Master’s in Business Administration from Cornell University. He practiced at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center from 2010 through 2017, where he received the President’s Recognition of Faculty Excellence (2016), before joining the Vanderbilt faculty in 2017. Dr. Jessop serves as Associate Professor and Section Chief for Nuclear Medicine. He is a member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, American College of Nuclear Medicine, Radiological Society of North America and the International Society for Clinical Densitometry.
