The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Tuberculosis Trials Consortium (TBTC), together with collaborators from the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) AIDS Clinical Trial Group (ACTG), is pleased to announce the publication of “Four-Month Rifapentine Regimens with or without Moxifloxacin for Tuberculosis" in the New England Journal of Medicine.

Innovation for Tuberculosis Vaccine Discovery (ITVD) (R61/R33 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

Application Due Date: June 30, 2021. Letter of Intent Due Date: 30 days prior to the application due date.  Expires: July 01, 2021. The purpose of this funding opportunity is to support the design of novel tuberculosis (TB) vaccine candidates that exploit innovative approaches and their advancement into preclinical animal model testing. This funding opportunity will use a milestone driven, biphasic award mechanism to fund high risk/exploratory research. Transition to the second phase depends on the successful completion of milestones.
