Valeria Garcia Lopez, B.S.
Former Research Asssistant
Valeria was born in El Salvador and raised in Nashville. She earned her B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Centre College in Danville, KY. Shortly after, she joined the Skaar lab to study the role of calprotectin on inflammation and innate immunity. Valeria starts graduate school at Vanderbilt University in the fall of 2020.
