A bit about us...
We have a deep and sustained commitment to high-quality HIV care. This began in 1992 with Dr. Raffanti (PI) spearheading creation of a comprehensive HIV/AIDS care program in Middle Tennessee, extending this work statewide through practice transformation at 12 HIV Centers of Excellence, and from this building a successful interprofessional HIV education program.
The SE AETC is located at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
- Comprehensive Care Clinic (adult HIV/AIDS clinic since 1994; serves over 3,100 patients/year)
- Pediatric/Adolescent HIV Clinic (serving 85 pediatric patients and indeterminate infants
- AIDS Therapeutics Clinical Trials Program (enrolled over 2,200 since 1992)
