VANDERBILT pediatric hematology/oncology ADVANCED PRACTICE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
Description
The Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Advanced Practice Fellowship is a 12-month postgraduate program focused on the field of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology in both the inpatient and ambulatory setting. The advanced practice provider will be exposed to areas of inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology including leukemia and lymphomas, solid and CNS tumors, SCT, and hematologic disorders, etc. The APP fellow will receive training and mentoring from MDs and APPs in the department.
Ideal candidate:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- National Board Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Acute Care (PNCB-AC) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- TN License/Certificate of Fitness to prescribe, eligible for NPI and DEA
- Interest in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
