Vanderbilt University Medical Center Outpatient Neurology Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship Program
Description
The Vanderbilt University Medical Center Outpatient Neurology Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship is a 12-month postgraduate program focused on the field of neurology in the ambulatory setting. The advanced practice provider (APP) will be exposed to areas of outpatient neurology including general neurology, sleep medicine and movement disorders, etc. The APP fellow will receive training and mentorship from neurologists and APPs in the neurology department.
Ideal candidate:
- Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies
- National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP), or Physician Assistant (PA)
- TN License/Certificate of Fitness to Prescribe, eligible for NPI and DEA
- Interest in working in the field of general neurology, sleep medicine, movement disorders, etc.
Time Commitment: July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025
