Vanderbilt Medical Center Facilities Management is responsible for maintaining all facility operations, including general maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC systems, refrigeration, fire alarms, and building structures in accordance with all applicable building standards, fire codes, and the following:
- Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS)
- Tennessee Occupational Safety & Health Administration (TOSHA)
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
- Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC)
- The Joint Commission (TJC)
- National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA)
- Metropolitan Nashville Fire Codes
We provide customer support for issues related to fire safety, life safety, and workplace safety. Our mission is to provide excellence in maintenance, operation, and cleanliness for facilities and utilities in a customer-focused, safe, efficient and sustainable manner.
