Academic Affiliations

Dr. Roberts has served on the faculty of the University of Mississippi and the University of South Florida (USF). He retained an adjunct appointment at USF after accepting the position Director of Clinical Research at the American Institute of Balance in Largo, FL. Other current affiliations: Assistant Professor at the Vanderbilt DHSS, Temporary Graduate Faculty at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and Adjunct Graduate Faculty in Communication Sciences and Disorders at The University of Memphis.

Research

Dr. Roberts has served on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Audiology and the Alabama Academy of Audiology. He is currently a Trustee of the American Academy of Audiology Foundation. He helped develop the Auditory Test of Temporal Resolution (ATTR) with Jennifer J. Lister, Ph.D. This psychoacoustics tool is made available for free to researchers around the world.
