Women in Radiology Lectureship

Launched in August 2019, the Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences Women in Radiology Lectureship was designed to recognize female leaders in radiology. An initiative of the department’s Women in Radiology group, the Lectureship provides an opportunity for women to speak to a Grand Rounds audience on clinical and non-clinical topics of interest.

The Women in Radiology Lectureship was uniquely designed to provide invited lecturers with the opportunity to network with cross-disciplinary leaders at VUMC and Vanderbilt University. Each visiting lecturer will meet one-on-one with members of the department – from trainees to the Chairman – and with faculty from the Vanderbilt community in areas that align with her personal interests.

Vanderbilt Radiology supports the work and interests of female colleagues. Through this Lectureship, the Women in Radiology group offers a platform for women from across the country to share their knowledge and experiences, and hopes to inspire radiologists and radiologists-in-training at VUMC and beyond.
