Q Fever Exam

Faculty and staff in the Division of Animal Care, as well as research staff who work with sheep or goats, have the potential for exposure to Q fever. These employees are required to participate in OHC's surveillance program to detect any signs of Q fever infection. The program involves an annual medical questionnaire and physical examination to identify medical conditions which increase an individual's risk, as well as to detect signs and symptoms of a Q fever infection. Early diagnosis and treatment can prevent a more serious problem.

You may call to make an appointment with OHC at 615-936-0955.
