Merissa Mayo, PMP

Merissa is the project management lead for the Crowe Lab. Merissa has worked full-time at Vanderbilt since 2012 and has over six years of experience in Vanderbilt's administrative functions. She heads the project management team which organizes all Crowe Lab intellectual property and human subjects research. She is responsible for the logistical management of collaborations (both domestic and international), process improvement projects, oversight of Export Control, and other areas that cross between lab and administration. Merissa is passionate about using project management in a research setting in order to move science forward in the most efficient way possible. She is a member of National Council of University Research Administrators and the Project Management Institute. She obtained her PMP certification in March 2018.
