Mission: To provide VUMC management and the Board of Directors with independent and objective assurance and advisory services in support of the organization's CREDO to: (1) provide excellence in healthcare, research, and education, (2) treat others as we wish to be treated, and (3) continuously evaluate and improve our performance through a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate risk and improve the organization's internal control environment.
