Graduate Clinical Placement (NP, PA, and Midwifery Students)
As of April 22, 2019, VUMC Student Placement will begin preceptor matching for NP, PA, and Midwifery students.  Students will no longer need to reach out to and locate a clinical preceptor.  Because preceptorship opportunities at VUMC are competitive and we cannot guarantee placement for all students, students will apply through the survey below for placement at VUMC, being matched with preceptors within clinical area of interest based on preceptor availability.  Our hope is that this new process will give students the most equitable opportunity at having a preceptorship experience here at VUMC.  **Students who have already secured a preceptor and submitted their request for fall of 2019 prior to April 22, 2019, please know that we will honor these preceptorships as requested.  You do not need to complete an additional application.  If you have questions about your situation, please email student.placement@vumc.org.

Graduate Clinical Placement

NP, PA, and Midwifery students interested in completing a preceptorship at VUMC should submit an application for Student Placement found on the Graduate Clinical Placement website.

VUMC requests that students and academic institutions refrain from directly contacting providers and clinic sites.  All NP, PA, and midwifery student placement requests should be submitted via the application on the Graduate Clinical Placement website.

Additional Clinical Placements
