We have just completed our “Magnet Month” of site visits from the ANCC. Congratulations to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, Vanderbilt University Hospital and Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital and Behavioral Health for reaching this milestone successfully! With all of our site visits complete we now await the result of our Magnet journey.
It is my honor to share the news of being chosen as a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing along with Elizabeth Card.
This issue also highlights Brent Dunworth as he steps into the role of associate nurse executive for Advanced Practice. Lastly, congratulations to our NEPD team for our Nurse Residency Program has attained a second accreditation as a Practice Transition Program from the ANCC!
