VACS Visits Nashville

Veterans Aging Cohort Study (VACS)  investigators and study personnel from Yale University, Boston University Medical Center, and the University of Pittsburgh visited Vanderbilt June 29 through July 1 2015 for collaborative meetings and discussions about projects and grants related to the VACS Cardiovascular Disease Core. Investigators and personnel met with a variety of Vanderbilt's faculty, including Radiology, Biostatistics, Cardiac Rehab, and Infectious Disease, to discuss future plans and possibilities in efforts to further research efforts. In attendance at the Nashville meeting were: Amy Justice (Yale University), Glory Koerbel (University of Pittsburgh), Janet Tate (Yale University), Melissa Skanderson, Kathy McGinnis, Kaku So-Armah (Boston University Medical Center), Matthew Freiberg, Sarah Loch, Ashley Williams-Bond, Asri Mumpuni, and Suman Kundu (Vanderbilt University Medical Center).
