Stephen Gannon is the Director of Operations, Research, and Project Implementation, with the Surgical Outcomes Center for Kids (SOCKs) at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. He oversees the daily operations of the department, including all HR-related processes, grant and budget management, as well as project planning & implementation. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Trevecca Nazarene University and is a Certified Clinical Research Professional through the Society of Clinical Research Associates. In his prior position as the Neurosurgery Research Manager, Stephen manages all aspects of multiple clinical research trials, including the maintenance of all regulatory documents, screening and consenting patients, data collection, mining, and management. Prior to coming to Vanderbilt, he was the Lead Regulatory Affairs Specialist for the Sarah Cannon Research Institute, overseeing the regulatory compliance for all Phase II/III oncology trials and all cardiovascular trials.
