Aanish Raees

Aanish Raees is Research Fellow in the Department of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery. Aanish graduated from The Aga Khan University Medical School, Pakistan with a Bachelors of Medicine, Bachelors of Surgery (M.B.B.S). He has been at Vanderbilt since 2016. He has previously worked on the impact and spread of the Human Immunodeficieny Virus (HIV) in the Asian Region with a focus on epidemiology, phylogeny and bioinformatics. In addition, he has also worked on drug targeting and design to explore treatment options against the Hepatitis C Virus (HCV). Aanish currently conducts data collection, analysis and protocol drafting as well as 3D heart reconstruction and modelling.
