Deonte Dawson is the Clinical Research Coordinator in the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Vanderbilt. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Middle Tennessee State University. Prior to joining the Surgical Outcomes Center for Kids (SOCKs), he worked in the adult hospital on the Transplant and General Surgery Unit here at Vanderbilt. In his current position, Deonte manages various aspects of the pediatric neurosurgery research portfolio from inception to completion, including maintaining relationships with all project stakeholders, maintenance of all study related documentation, screening and consenting patients, data collection, mining and management, and project management.
