Why did you choose VUMC Pathology:
I left my interview feeling like Vanderbilt was the right place for me. I was looking for a program that would provide excellent training while also fostering a supportive environment, and Vanderbilt checked every box. The curriculum is incredibly well rounded, the faculty are outstanding, and the residents clearly enjoy working with one another. I was also excited by the opportunities to get involved in research and teaching throughout residency.

Fun fact about yourself:
I'm a big movie lover (my favorite movie is 2001: A Space Odyssey). I love to cook, and if I hadn't gone into medicine, I probably would have gone to culinary school and opened my own restaurant. I'm also the biggest Breaking Bad fan you'll ever meet.
