Joseph Gigante, MD, a member of the Academy of Excellence in Teaching, was recently invited to present at the University of Oklahoma and Stony Brook University and facilitated educator workshops for these groups:
- November 3, 2015, he presented a workshop to the Oklahoma University College of Medicine Academy of Teaching Scholars, "Giving Feedback in the Clinical Setting".
- November 4, 2015, he presented "Teaching Clinical Reasoning" at the University Of Oklahoma Department Of Pediatrics Grand Rounds.
- November 20, 2015, he was the visiting Professor at the Stony Brook University School of Medicine and he presented a faculty development workshop, "Habits of Highly Successful Academicians: Making your Grandmother (and your Department Chair) Proud" to the Department of Pediatrics.
