Welcome to the VUMC ANCC Accredited Provider Unit. The Nursing Education and Professional Development (NEPD) department is proud to be accredited to provide nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) activities to the Vanderbilt Nursing Community. Upon successful completion of an NCPD activity, ANCC contact hours will be awarded to participants.
Goal
It is our goal to facilitate the advancement of nursing practice through the dissemination of knowledge through continuing education programs with contact hours that meet the criteria set forth by ANCC. We also aim to support nurses to maintain and improve knowledge and skills of professional practice and provide NCPD activities that meet nurses' evolving professional development educational needs in alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
