Clinical data management for multiple prospective studies

My primary responsibility is to link clinical data from external sources to the associated biospecimens stored in the Thoracic Biorepository. I work closely with the members of the biorepository team to customize and manage requests with internal and external collaborators, create Ad-hoc reports, and assists with the management of biobanking activities. I interface with the clinical research coordinators from the Department of Veterans Affairs and Vanderbilt University Medical Center to conduct accrual audits, tissue acquisition reports, and utilizes data mining and extraction to track tumor progression. Development of a customizable relational database in collaboration with the bioinformatics and biostatistics team is currently underway.
