Parker completed his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Applied Biotechnology at the University of Georgia in May 2020. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted research at the Center for Vaccines and Immunology under Dr. Ted Ross towards the design of a recombinant protein vaccine against H2Nx Influenza. As a current graduate student in the Microbe-Host Interactions program at Vanderbilt University, Parker has continued to pursue his interest in vaccine design research against pathogenic viruses. Outside of research, Parker loves hiking in the Tennessee mountains, searching for the best craft Stouts and food in Nashville, taking beautiful photographs with his drone, and gaming on his computer.
