The Holowatyj Lab focuses on improving clinical care and outcomes for patients diagnosed with gastrointestinal cancers.

Our translational research program spans from cells to society--using a unique approach with both patient studies and laboratory-based projects--to investigate key research areas in oncology. 

These include: cancer genetics; cancer biology and etiology; reproductive health & tumor biology; cancer survivorship and the unique challenges facing young individuals after a cancer diagnosis.
