Dr. Minoo Bagheri is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics with a secondary appointment in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Dr. Bagheri is a multi-omics scientist and epidemiologist with a background in nutrition, genomics, and big data analytics. She currently serves as principal investigator on an NIH-funded project focused on developing network-based disease endotyping models that integrate genomics, metabolomics, proteomics, and clinical data to identify novel mechanisms driving cardiometabolic disease risk and progression. Her research emphasizes translational precision medicine, particularly for diverse populations, and seeks to transform complex multi-dimensional data into actionable tools for risk prediction, prevention, and treatment of cardiometabolic conditions.

Dr. Bagheri received her PhD in Nutritional Sciences from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2018, with predoctoral training at the Harvard School of Public Health in metabolomics and obesity phenotypes. She completed postdoctoral fellowships in genomic epidemiology and multi-omics integration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and VUMC.
