Mike Enger, MS, is a PhD student in the Department of Biomedical Informatics, supported by the National Library of Medicine’s T15 training grant. He earned his MS in Health Informatics & Analytics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (August 2024) after completing a BS in Psychology at Appalachian State University (August 2018). He joined DBMI in Fall 2025.

Prior to joining DBMI, Mike worked in healthcare operations, value-based care consulting, and federal contract research. Most recently, he was a clinical research informaticist at RTI International for five years, with experience supporting data coordinating centers for multi-site research consortia funded by the NIH and CDC.
