Brandon Buxton, MS

Brandon Buxton, MS, received a bachelor of Business Administration degree from Western Michigan University (December 2019) and a master of science degree (August 2023) from the University of Texas Health Science Center. Brandon is funded by the Genomic Learning Health System (gLHS) grant 1U01HG013776-01 and is pursuing a PhD in biomedical informatics. His research focuses on the intersection between clinical informatics and genomics. His goal is to ensure that patients are appropriately tested and to make genomic testing results more actionable within the electronic health record. He also frequently works with large, real-world datasets to conduct target trial emulation studies and explain findings that are only clear when a large population is analyzed.
