Meagan Westberry is known for many things in CVICU. Her impeccable makeup, her two Huskie babies, being a Disney guru, working Christmas, and her love for teaching. Many of her orientees affectionately call her Momma Bear and check in frequently with her and each other. Is it safe to say Meagan has a “Cub Club”?? J So, becoming the newest PRECEPTOR OF THE QUARTER is no surprise and well deserved. Meagan has been participating in ECMO Sim Lab for a while now and has added more educational knowledge in the CVICU Emergency and Procedure Class. In an addition to precepting new staff members, Meagan has also taken on Nurse Residents, which is a big responsibility and requires patience, communication, and teamwork. Meagan continues her passion for education by being one of the newest Education Council Co-chairs, which has her working along the unit Educator for maximum results. She is also what we call a triple threat: Preceptor, Charge Nurse, and Help All. CVICU is extremely fortunate to have Meagan on our team and super happy she charges Christmas!
