Megan McFerran Leksell

Megan Leksell is the Center Administrative Officer of the VVC. She began working in the Clinical Pharmacology Division as a Financial Analyst in November 2013. She rejoined the Clinical Pharmacology Division as a Senior Financial Analyst in November 2015, then transitioned to her current role as the VVC AO in August 2016. She is responsible for the pre- and post-award grants and contracts portfolio within the VVC and manages human resources, visas, and travel. She manages the financial matters for all faculty and core laboratories in the center. She serves as a resource facilitating internal and external assurance of compliance for the VVC. She monitors terms and agreements of awards while representing the center and interacting with internal departments and sponsors during all phases of the proposal both pre- and post-award. She provides leadership for a knowledgeable and operational administrative team to conduct the daily tasks of the department’s business. She is an active member of the National Council of University Research Administrators and The Medical Group Management Association.
