Clayton Wandishin

Graduate Student

Clayton is a graduate student in the Chemical and Physical Biology department focusing on the optimization of antibody binding to various antigens using a structure based approach.  His primary research interests include the use of Crystallographic and Small Angle Scattering techniques (SAXS/SANS) in conjunction with EM to identify binding interactions and potential sites for structural modification to increase affinity and thermodynamic stability.  He has been at Vanderbilt since 2014 when he entered through the Quantitative and Chemical Biology Program (QCB) in addition to the Initiative for Maximizing Student Diversity (IMSD).
