Webinar Series for School Leaders

There are great benefits to children attending in-person school. It is important to weigh academic, mental and physical health benefits against the risk of infection and transmission of COVID-19.

A new webinar series, hosted by a multi-disciplinary advisory board of experts at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, is designed to:

  • help educators and administrators understand the role of schools and school-based activities in COVID-19 transmission;
  • discuss mitigation strategies;
  • share best practices;
  • and create ongoing dialogue.

Video recordings of these webinars are found below.

Upcoming webinar topics and dates will be posted as they become available.
The information provided here was up-to-date at the time of presentation.  Our goal is to present data-driven and evidence-based science to help schools make important decisions regarding face-to-face instruction. We cannot make decisions nor do we advise specific action for individual schools.
