Local restaurants Epice, Kalamata's and Santo are offering a credit of up to $25 toward any meal to front line health care workers in Nashville.
Those wishing to order may phone (615) 720-6765, and upon pickup show your ID indicating you are a health care worker to receive the discount, which the restaurants say is funded via a "Thank You Fund" from the local community.
Epice, located in the 12 South area, and Santo, located in Green Hills are open daily. Kalamata's, also in Green Hills, is open every day except Sunday. All three establishments are owned by local businessman Maher Fawaz, who moved to Nashville in 1984.
The fund to provide the discounted meals, according to reporting at WTVF NewsChannel 5, was set up by several local businessmen who wish to remain anonymous -- both as a way to thank health care workers and support local restaurants while their business is limited to take out orders.
