This information is for those new hires that are approved for remote orientation.
As you prepare for your new job, please make sure you have completed the assigned preboarding tasks in Workday. These tasks will be assigned when your background check has been approved, and you have claimed your VUMC ID.
VUMC ID - You should receive an email from vumc@myworkday.com with instructions on how to claim and activate your VUMC ID. This message will come to your personal email address. It is vital you claim and activate your VUMC ID as soon as possible.
I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification - This must be completed within 3 business days from your official start date. Once you have claimed your VUMC ID, the Onboarding team will contact you to complete your I-9 and verify your eligibility documents. If you have not received an email or phone call to schedule an appointment by Thursday before your start date, please contact your Preboarding Partner.
For your information, here is where you can find information on what documents you may use to complete your I-9. In addition, you will need a camera-enabled device for a TEAMS video call.
ID Badges and immunizations are not required for employees working fully remote.
Virtual Orientation Session - By Thursday afternoon before your start date you will receive an email with a meeting link for a required live virtual orientation. This will be held on your start date, 2-4 pm (CST). Please mark your calendars and hold this time.
