In order to ensure LGBTQ patients receive the best care possible, Vanderbilt researchers from a variety of Schools and Departments are investigating important topics related to LGBTQ health. These include studies of the best methods of delivery of care to LGBTQ patients, evaluations of course and medical curricula to train providers about LGBTQ health topics, and qualitative research to understand how LGBTQ patients interact with the health care system.
