Sebastián Alarcón

Sebastián is a graduate student in the laboratory of Dr Rody San Martin at Universidad Austral de Chile. As part of a collaborative work between Dr Vanacore and San Martin, Sebastián came to Vanderbilt to use mass spectrometry for identifying phosphorylation sites within the cytoplasmic tail of Equilibrative nucleoside transporter 1 (ENT1), a plasma membrane receptor that is involved in Diabetic Nephropathy. Seabastián visit was supported by a scholarship award from the chilean goverment (MECESUP AUS 1203)
