Deepika Nambiar, PhD

Dr Deepika Nambiar joined the Vanacore Lab after graduating with a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. In her doctoral dissertation, Deepika studied enzymes of the folate pathway under Dr. Elizabeth Howell mentorship. Deepika has received multiple honors and awards including the Chancellor’s Award for Extraordinary Professional Promise, The University of Tennessee,Knoxville and the 2019 Audience Choice Award in Science from the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
