Trayambak Basak, PhD

Trayambak has joined our group as a postdoctoral fellow at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Division of Nephrology & Hypertension. He has obtained his PhD degree from CSIR-Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology, New Delhi, India. He is aiming to explore the crosslinking of the 7S domain of collagen IV networks using mass spectrometry based methods. Another interesting aspect of his work is to decipher the pathological mechanism of Diabetic Nephropathy using proteomics and metabolomics technologies.
