Cardiovascular Medicine/V-CREATE & V-SERCH

Lauren Lee is a Project Manager for Vanderbilt Center for Clinical Cardiovascular Outcomes REsearch and Trials Evaluation (V-CREATE) and Vanderbilt System for EHR-based Research in Cardiovascular Health (V-SERCH). She works closely with the Director, faculty, and personnel to manage the Center's pre-award grant submission process and all incoming data requests.

Prior to joining our center, she worked as a data analyst in Clinical Pharmacology at Vanderbilt where she analyzed data for publications and helped develop natural language processing (NLP) algorithms for a variety of cardiovascular and pharmacology phenotypes, such as atrial fibrillation and drug-induced arrhythmias. In addition, Lauren Lee brings an abundance of regulatory experience to the team. She has served as a regulatory affairs specialist in the past for multiple multi-center industry and investigator-initiated clinical trials, from pre-clinical first-in-human studies to Phase 3 trials. She now uses this knowledge to oversee clinical and genomic research projects in Cardiovascular and Genetic Medicine.
