South African Aurum Institute visits Vanderbilt

Aurum Institute leadership visited Vanderbilt University Medical Center October 6-8th, 2015, to discuss potential collaborations in TB and HIV research. Gavin Churchyard, CEO, Dave Clark, Deputy CEO, and Paul David, Chairman, spent two days meeting with School of Medicine and VUMC Faculty.

The Aurum Institute is based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and works to improve the health of people and communities through innovation in TB and HIV integration. Aurum is active in all 9 provinces of South Africa and has offices in the US. It also undertakes project work in other African countries and Asia, with US, European, and local collaborators.
