Vanderbilt Tuberculosis Center welcomes a new Program Manager

We are happy to announce that a new Program Manager has been added to the team. Please help us in welcoming Cody Staats.

Cody comes to us from Arizona State University's Center for Science and the Imagination. His experience includes nearly a decade of program and grant management overseeing pre-award, post-award, and closeout for gifts/grants from diverse funding sources including the National Science Foundation, NASA, Intel, Google, the World Bank, and more.

In 2014 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Arizona State University, which was followed by a Master of Science in Global Technology and Development from the same institution in 2019. Cody won a USAID graduate development research award in 2018 to conduct research on sustainable water futures in the Cantareira watershed of São Paulo, Brazil. He is fluent in Brazilian Portuguese.

As Program Manager, Cody will be focusing on RePORT – Brazil, while also taking on additional responsibilities in managing the portfolio of grant-funded projects at the TB Center.
